The value of sustainability in an industrial park
An industrial park must take measures to ensure that the activities at these sites are adequately regulated to avoid affecting the ecosystem in which they operate and always seek to move towards sustainability.To prevent a scenario where the environment and its balance for society’s sustainability reach a point where irreparable damage is generated, the government and the industries must be even more aware of the relevance of sustainable development in companies and create and implement several ecological strategies.
Moving towards a sustainable industry

Furthermore, when attending the forum “the 2030 Industrial Decarbonization2”, this same association indicated that it is essential to train workers in environmental issues to understand the impact that industrial services have on the ecosystem so that they can be empathetic in this regard.The forum also emphasized that any industrial park must make use of renewable energies, systems for the use and harvesting of rainwater; it also has to separate waste, improve collection, manage and reuse resources, and continue to implement improvement strategies.
Actions to be considered
Some companies have implemented the Sustainable Development Goals3 as a commitment to contribute to the care of the environment and social progress. These goals include promoting the availability of clean water and sanitation, inclusive industry, ocean resources conservation, and ecosystems protection.
This example can help industrial parks develop sustainable models for the future, engage companies in this cause, and care for the planet while becoming more productive and efficient.
